The Linc Shop was founded in January 1989. After a period of providing sub contract facilities for a company in Glasgow it was decided to strike out on our own.
The name however was chosen some time earlier. When working for Burroughs machines limited in Cumbernauld in fact. Our team was working on the Linc on XE550 project. We named our small department The Linc Shop.
A few short years later it came to pass that the real company was born.
As well as Linc we have also branched out into web design, digital photography and imaging, document production and other areas in computing.
